We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with applicable data protection laws and this Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to amend the content of this Privacy Policy. We therefore recommend that you review our information on data processing at regular intervals.

Use of Our Services

You can generally use our websites dialogmuseum.de and tickets.dialogmuseum.de without providing any personal data. However, when using our service features, we ask you to provide personal data if it is necessary to properly process your request.

We need your name and address if your inquiry results in a reservation or a binding booking. We also need this information to send tickets, gift certificates, educational booklets, or requested informational materials.

We need your email address and phone number to contact you to clarify details regarding your inquiry and to send booking confirmations.

This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent. Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating via email) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. It is not possible to completely protect data from access by third parties.

Storage of IP Addresses

Our comment feature stores the IP addresses of users who post comments. Since we do not review comments on our site before they are published, we need this data to be able to take action against the author in the event of legal violations such as insults or propaganda.

Ticket Shop

You can view the offerings in the Ticket Shop without providing your personal data. However, you must register to use the Ticket Shop’s features. To do so, you must provide your name, address, phone number, and email address.

DIALOGMUSEUM gGmbH processes your personal data in compliance with the data protection regulations applicable to the contract. We collect, process, and use the data via automated procedures to the extent necessary for establishing, structuring, or modifying the contractual relationship.

We use your phone number to contact you by phone in the event that problems arise during the purchase of tickets or gift certificates (e.g., an incorrect email address). Dialogmuseum gGmbH is authorized to transfer this data to third parties it has commissioned to fulfill the contract, to the extent necessary to fulfill the contracts entered into. Otherwise, we do not disclose your data to third parties.

Server Log Files

The websites dialogmuseum.de and tickets.dialogmuseum.de automatically collect and store a range of general data and information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us.

The following data is collected:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • The website from which an accessing system reaches our websites (so-called referrer), the referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • The date and time of access to the websites
  • An Internet Protocol address (IP address)
  • the Internet service provider of the accessing system

This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals. This data is not combined with other data sources. We reserve the right to review this data retrospectively if we become aware of concrete evidence of unlawful use.

Newsletter

Our newsletter keeps you informed about the DIALOGMUSEUM and our offerings.

To subscribe to the newsletter, we need a valid email address from you, as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the provided email address and that you consent to receiving the newsletter.

For legal reasons, a confirmation email is sent via the double-opt-in procedure to the email address initially provided by the data subject for the newsletter. This confirmation email serves to verify that the owner of the email address, as the data subject, has authorized receipt of the newsletter.

When you subscribe to the newsletter, we also store the IP address assigned by the Internet service provider (ISP) to the computer system used by the data subject at the time of registration, as well as the date and time of registration. The collection of this data is necessary to be able to trace any (potential) misuse of a data subject’s email address at a later date and therefore serves to provide legal protection for the data controller.

We use the data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not disclose it to third parties. No additional data is collected.

You may revoke your consent to the storage of your data and email address, as well as their use for sending the newsletter, at any time—for example, by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter.

Cookies are files that store specific information on users’ devices to improve user-friendliness and enable statistical analysis. We also use cookies on our website for this purpose.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are set and to allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, to block the acceptance of cookies in specific cases or generally, and to enable the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of the website and the ticket shop.

Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies.” These are text files (as described above) that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie regarding your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there.

IP-Anonymization

We have enabled the IP anonymization feature on this website. As a result, Google will truncate your IP address within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmitting it to the United States. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
